What is Poverty?

Poverty is not just being poor, poverty is devastation living in dirt with nothing at all. People who live in poverty have nothing and live on the ground don't  have heated houses or any other of the luxuries that we have. So then, poverty is the lack of money and resources for a person or people group. It causes starvation, disease, lack of clean water and even death. It is a condition that people cannot escape. A condition where the people are constantly poor to the extreme and they cannot do anything about it unless we help. This is why we can and need to fight against poverty.
